Beach volleyball celebrates Senior Day

On Sat., March 14, the beach volleyball team celebrated Senior Day. The team honored their senior class of Teagan Algarra, Kennedy Farley, Kelia Giusta, Emma Hugeback, Madi Kelly, Olivia Medina and Aliyah Moore. The Golden Eagles started the day by beating The Master’s and Mira Costa College. Then concluded the day with a ceremony to congratulate the seniors.

Currently sitting at 14-9 the ladies have four more regular season games before taking on the WWPA Tournament.This season has been nothing short of amazing for the ladies and they have a chance to make history and turn in their best record as a program.

Women’s volleyball season coming to a close

Women’s volleyball is currently holding an 11-11 record with three games left in their season. On Oct. 30, they overtook Azusa Pacific at home 3-1, but unfortunately fell short against Biola 2-3 in La Mirada on Nov. 1. On Nov. 8, the Green and Gold loss to Point Loma 1-3 in a rematch on the opponent’s home court. Despite mixed results this season, the ladies are staying positive and hopeful to finish out with a winning season.
