Men's basketball enters PacWest conference with 3-3 record

Dec. 3 marked the first game of the PacWest conference for the men’s basketball team. The Golden Eagles played a home game against Westmont, winning 72-61. Prior to the conference, the team had a record of 3-3. Blake Ballard, a junior who plays forward and guard, and Ben Krystkowiak, a junior who plays guard, discussed their expectations and thoughts after their first few games of the season.

Women’s volleyball season coming to a close

Women’s volleyball is currently holding an 11-11 record with three games left in their season. On Oct. 30, they overtook Azusa Pacific at home 3-1, but unfortunately fell short against Biola 2-3 in La Mirada on Nov. 1. On Nov. 8, the Green and Gold loss to Point Loma 1-3 in a rematch on the opponent’s home court. Despite mixed results this season, the ladies are staying positive and hopeful to finish out with a winning season.
