Men’s swim wins PCSC Championships

Men’s swim won Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC) Championships with the final race of the meet, the men’s relay. Defeating the 2020 champs, UC Santa Cruz, the men’s team edged out the competition by less than two points margin for the total meet, winning 731 to 729.5.

Golden Eagles overcome San Marcos ahead of Hawaii trip

The baseball team topped San Marcos on Sat., Feb. 18 ahead of the conference opener in Hawaii against Hawai’i Hilo. The Golden Eagles beat San Marcos 2-0 after playing them three times in two days. The baseball team was beaten by San Marcos on Feb. 17 and earlier in the day on Feb. 18. They lost 1-6 and 2-6 before their 2-0 win.

An Eagle to start a legacy career

De Wilder started a new legacy in his Eagle’s tennis career this season by transitioning from being an active tennis player to becoming the team’s assistant coach.

De Wilder started his Eagle career last season when he transferred from Eastern Illinois to join the tennis team at Concordia. As an athlete, De Wilder immediately took the role of a leader, helping bring together the team.

The CUI baseball team pulled off a miraculous comeback in game one of Saturday's doubleheader, scoring eight runs in the bottom of the ninth to come back for the win. In game two, the Eagles were in a position for yet another walk-off win before the game was called due to light curfew, ending in a 4-4 tie. With the results of Saturday's games, Concordia remains undefeated with a 3-0-1 record on the season.

This updated policy affects home men's and women's basketball, men's volleyball and stunt games hosted at Concordia.

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased ahead of time.
